Realising an End to Fuel Poverty
The Energy Action Scotland 30th Anniversary Annual Conference will be held on Thursday 7th to Friday 8th November at the The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre, Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire Scotland.
Increasingly, the focus is on how to find and assist those who are in most need and examples of good practice will be highlighted. Looking forward, how energy demand can be reduced and housing made more sustainable will also feature.
There have been many changes in the fuel poverty field over the last year. The Scottish Government now has the Home Energy Efficiency Programmes for Scotland with a largely area-based approach. The energy suppliers must deliver the Energy Companies Obligation which runs alongside the private sector-led Green Deal. Meanwhile, the Energy Retail Market Review seeks to win back customer confidence.
The Conference Exhibition will give the opportunity to find out about the latest products and services in energy efficiency, heating and insulation from a range of companies.
