Insulation

Up to 30% of the heat can escape through the roof.

Energy Action insulates pipework, cold water tank and floor space of the attic. Traditionally, insulation is placed above the ceiling, between and above the roof joists. The material is installed by either rolling out insulation quilt or by blowing loose fill material.

Energy Action installers are aware of responsibility of ventilation requirements

An uninsulated hot water tank loses heat rapidly. It is possible to save up to 30% of water heating costs by fitting a good quality lagging jacket.

Energy Action supplies and fits a lagging jacket to its customers. An insulated hot water tank provides hotter water for longer periods at lower costs
